Not everything has to be sleek or minimal to be beautiful. Some of us find joy in the loud, the quirky, the over-the-top. And that joy? It’s real. It’s valid. And it deserves respect. So no — I’m not baking for Instagram likes. I’m baking for people who want to feel something when they celebrate. I’m baking for joy, whimsy, and wonder — especially when the world tries to make us feel small. ✨ Just because someone at The Cut said cakes like mine are “ugly” doesn’t make it true.
