Where Art, Music & Sustainability Collide! Thank you, H-E-B for championing Recycling Day across Texas and here in McAllen at REFEST! As we rewind the art, music and magic of REFEST, enjoy the photos and carry forward the 7R’s: reforest, rethink, reduce, reuse, recycle, repurpose and reciprocity.

Here is the culmination of the ReVulture Revolution with Hinovations Art Gallery Murals. These are three, approximately 5 x 5 ft, cardboard murals created with pieces of assorted recycled cardboard and tempera paint. The objective was to design these pieces using recycled materials, mirroring the way Vultures clean and recycle our environment. The community actively participated in the effort by painting the cardboard pieces, which we then assembled. The Hinovations team, Raquel Hinojosa and Lupe Hernandez, worked their feathers off (lol) for nearly six hours and brought it all together.
