I wasn't aware my image was used for a post to represent my shop until I received messages about it. At first, glance, I was like, oh cute me as an anime character not thinking much about it. I feel like that's what's the post was about, following a cute trend harmlessly. However, reading the comments on the original post, I don't agree with how the whole situation was handled, and I asked to be taken off because the post wasn't deleted. You can't say you support artists then disagree when artists say it's not ok to use AI. I feel like as an organizer of Hecho A Mano, which is directly a Mercado for "artists and handmade only," it's my duty to speak up, especially when my whole business is about art and handmade items.
